Tara’s season has already started. Kansas City Community College has played in several exhibitions against local four year colleges and held their own against them. Tara started several games and is averaging about 7 points a game. In the early going, a lot of it is adjusting from high school ball to the next level and also adjusting being away from home, but KC is only 80 miles away as the crow flies. KCCC has a coach who puts a huge focus on conditioning and its run, run and some more running for the team and this has helped Tara in the transition game. They play two more exhibitions game tonight and the regular season starts soon. Her family is gearing up for the basketball road and will support her as always.

Her team lost to Bendictine College last night by 10 points and won over St. Mary's by 21 points. Tara started and played 24 minutes in the first game. She had 4 points, 2 rebounds and 1 steal. In the other game she had 20 minutes of playing time and scored 6 points, 3 rebounds and 1 steal. It's a learning experience for her playing at the Junior College level. The regular season starts Friday night on their homecourt.
