The Potawatomi grapevine is saying as of today there are seven candidates running for the vacant Tribal Chairperson position. By the deadline of 4:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon there could be as many as ten or eleven candidates!
The Red Lake Net News of Northern Minnesota give their people running for tribal council positions, a campaign page on their website. So for anyone that is running for the Prairie Band Potawatomi chair position: they can have a campaign page on my blog, if they so choose! Think about it you get at most two times in the tribal paper telling of your reasons for running for tribal chair, but on my blog, people can see your campaign page between now and October. And by the way there will be no comments allowed on any campaign page!
Great idea Larry! I hope the candidates take advantage of your generous offer to post on 'The most frequently updated Prairie Band Potawatomi news source'! :-)
The more informed people can be can only help our societies, I think. It's the best thing about this new medium and I'm happy to see you use it for your people's benefit!

Let's see which one supports the tribal council accountability program, that's the person I will vote for.
