Going down the powwow highway
i hadn’t been to a powwow in a dog’s age
i was surprised
to see litefoot and irene bedard
having stands at the powwow
There wasn’t nothing on the tribe’s website
or in their powwow brochure about those stars being there…
reminds me of reading an article about a
native american journalists conference held in tulsa
last year
And one journalist’s told the audience
“I will give anyone here ten dollars
if they can tell me if their tribal website
has been updated in the past month.”
and only two held their hands up…!
