Bob Dylan in Concert

I took a break from the action and went to the Bob Dylan Concert at Xcel Center in St.Paul  last night! Before the concert started I got some souvenirs, two Bob Dylan T-shirts and a Bob Dylan hat! My little brother Gary wanted a souvenir, so I got him a hat! If you see him wearing a hat down on the rez that says 'The Bob Dylan Show' you will know where he got it! Now he can't go around and say I never gave him anything!

Aside from my wife, the only person I recognized out of 13,591, was Bob Dylan! Maybe I should get out more!

My Song-Poem

One of my song-poems The Potawatomi Gathering 2005 made it into the Michigan Indian Sovereignty and Treaties curriculum developed by The Nokomis Learning Center . The Nokomis Learning Center is dedicated to the preservation and presentation of the history, arts, and culture of the Anishinaabe people-the Ojibwa, Odawa, and Potawatomi Indians. My poem appears at the end of lesson 3C "Treaties and Potawatomi Removal."

I want to thank Denise Blair Leach at Michigan State University for taking enough interest to visit my site and to read my song-poems and wanting to include 'The Potawatomi Gathering 2005' in their curriculum. It is a great honor for me knowing that there are some of our young native kids over in Michigan reading my song-poem!
